training
All our dogs are started on sheep and trained to a standard good enough to Sheep Dog Trial. We feel this helps when it comes to finishing their training in the paddock on cattle. Generally it takes around 12 months to have a young dog ready to start on quiet young cattle and we don't put our dogs on cows and calves until they are usually over 2 years old this allows them to be fully matured physically.
We are happy to spend a day with anyone who buys either one of our pups or a started dog. In fact we would prefer if you could see how we do things, as well as help you with your new dog.
