Mirrakay Bill

Bill is a big strong dog who is good at everything he does, he works cattle quietly but with plenty of bite when needed. He was my main work dog and was rarely left at home; he has a big cast and works well out of sight and without command. We have bred Bill to quite a few different bitches with great success, he has also placed in both sheep and cattle dog trials. Unfortunately due to a hard working life Bill is now semi retired and only goes out on smaller jobs.

Rees was imported from the UK as a 5 month old pup, he was bred by Kevin Evans and is by his one of his top dogs Spot 272 008, Spot is a consistent winner at major field trials in the UK. Rees is coming along extremely well in his training and is shaping up to be every thing we hoping he would be. He has a commanding presence over his stock, while keeping good distance and like so many of the UK dogs his trainability is first class. Rees is based at Roma and is being trained by co-owner Jamie Sturrock of Craiglea Working Dogs . Like Mist he is going to play a major part in our dogs in the future.

BIRALEE Sonny


Sonny is an exceptional young dog. He is by Vern Sullivan's imported dog Taddymoor Bob who's father won International Supreme in 2004. Sonny has a natural big cast and allot of quiet power. He moves his stock easily and has great holding ability. He is very easy to train and is one of the most natural stock dogs we have owned.

Kennallywood Rusty


Rusty is a very stylish dog with a big heart and tremendous drive for work, he is a natural lead dog who gets along with either cows and calves or dry stock. Rusty is an excellent weaner dog and will hold and settle 300 or 400 weaners on his own. Rusty broke his Novice status at Roma 3 Sheep Trial, this was only his 3rd trial. He also placed 7th in the Open Cattle Dog Trial on the same weekend.

woollys Mimi

Mimi is our 3 legged dog. She had an accident at 12 months of age & had her leg removed. Mimi showed a lot of natural ability from a young age & is very well bred being 3/4 imported lines from both the UK and America & ¼ top Australian lines. Mimi is now one of our main brood bitches, with all litters producing excellent working dogs.

Bella is a 4 year old imported bitch from Lancashire England, with numerous UK Champions throughout her pedigree. . Bella has a lot of scope and plenty of power, she moves stock well and has tremendous drive for work, she never gives up and will work until she drops.

Mist 308369

Mist was imported from the UK at the same time as Rees, she has a long list of Champions through out her breeding. Both her parents work sheep and cattle on a Hill farm in Wales, as well as being very successful trialing at an International level. Mist is very much like her mother in work styles. Even at a young age she is showing all the traits needed to make a top working dog. Mist is co-owned Jamie Sturrock of Craiglea Working Dogs . Like Rees she is going to play a major part in our dogs in the future.

Lyster lucy

Lucy was purchased as a 8 week old pup from Vern Sullivan, Lucy is progressing well with her training and is working sheep & cattle with both style and power. She is an easy dog to train and like Sonny she is a very natural stock dog. For a small type of bitch she is showing a lot of strength on cattle and has a big heart. Her full bother Lyster Scratch is owned by Greg Prince and has just won the 2010 Australian Supreme Sheep Dog Trial at Port Fairy in Victoria.

Bauers Lass

Lass is one of our Kevin Evans Mirk 272009 AI pups, Mirk won the International Supreme Championship in 2008. Lass is proving to be a very natural type of pup, she has great distance and mob sense as well as having enough power to move stock quietly when needed. She has a good temperament and is a pleasure to have around.

Nell is the other one of our Kevin Evans Mirk 272009 AI pups. Like Lass Nell is proving to be a very natural type of pup, she has great distance and mob sense as well as having enough power to move stock quietly when needed. At this time Nell is the better of the two, as she is just a little stronger and intense on her stock.

Sweep AU/310458

Sweep is another AI pup, his father is Micheal Gallagher's Cap who won the International Supreme in 2010. Sweep is a very stylish young dog who is one of the few dogs that I have trained that has good distance off his stock and great feel as well as a tone of power. He is very trainable and is a great dog to have around.
